'Iran delays nuke program, stalling moment of truth'

Barak told The Daily Telegraph that without this delay, the conflict with Iran would have escalated before the US presidential election.

The defense minister added he did not believe sanctions and diplomacy would succeed in resolving the situation. He predicted Israel and the US would likely have to face "the moment of truth" - the decision of whether or not to launch a military strike against the Islamic Republic's nuclear facilities - in eight to ten months. read full article: Jerusalem Post

Syria and Turkey are on the brink of all-out war

"If anyone believed that Syria’s bloodshed would stay inside the country’s borders, the events of the last week should have put them right. I’m in southern Turkey, near the frontier with Syria, and this area feels like the new front line of the battle against Bashar al-Assad’s regime. Convoys of Turkish army vehicles ply the roads down to the border and, quietly, civilians are trickling away to safer areas." read full article: The Telegraph by David Blair

Russia says it will not renew arms agreement with U.S.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia will not renew a decades-old agreement with Washington on dismantling nuclear and chemical weapons when it expires next year, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov was quoted as saying on Wednesday.

The death of the 1991 agreement, which had been renewed twice, is the latest in a series of hitches in relations between the United States and Russia and casts doubt on the future of the much-vaunted "reset" in relations between the Cold War-era foes. read full article:  REUTERS

Fewer Americans Have God

The hour of the departure of the children of God will come when they will be removed to heavenly places in the twinkling of an eye. Are we experiencing the beginning of sorrows and the falling away of the end of the church dispensation?

"Nearly 20 percent of Americans do not identify with any particular religion, according to a new poll. The number is much higher among younger Americans, according to the survey from the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life.

For the first time less than half of Americans – 48 percent – consider themselves to be Protestant. One third of Americans under 30 do not identify with a religion. Pew calls them “nones.”

In 1972, only 7 percent of Americans did not identify with a religion, according to Pew.

The number of Christians has fallen by 5 percent, according to the survey. Those affiliated with “other religions” has risen by more than 2 percent. And the number not identifying with a particular religion has gone up more than 4 percent since 2007." read full article:  ABC NEWS
