The disclosure that 30 healthy babies were born after a series of experiments in the United States provoked another furious debate about ethics.

As a new report from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) details, scientists are still struggling to pinpoint the cause of so-called Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) and time is running out.
