Ahmadinejad Says ‘I Wish to Pray in Jerusalem’ – But Guess Who Needs to Disappear First
Ahmadinejad’s visit to Egypt is considered significant as it is the first visit of an Iranian leader to Egypt since Iran’s Islamic revolution in 1979. It is also an indication of how much Egypt has changed since President Hosni Mubarak’s fall from power. Both Mubarak and his predecessor President Anwar Sadat were vilified in Iran and other Muslim countries for honoring the peace treaty with Israel.

Morsi, who spent much of his political career in the Muslim Brotherhood, traveled to Iran in August. It was also the first time since 1979 that an Egyptian leader visited Iran.

Morsi’s cultivation of ties with a regime that has stated a commitment to destroying Israel and that is defying international sanctions by continuing work on the clandestine elements of its nuclear program has thus far made no impact on U.S. military aid to Egypt. Just this Sunday, an American military delegation delivered four F-16 fighter jets to Egypt.
The Obama administration has not given any indication it is weighing a change or a scale-back in military aid, but Republican senators sent President Obama a letter last week asking the administration to delay the delivery of an additional 16 F-16s expected to be delivered in 2013.

Iran, Syria threaten ‘surprise’ retaliation against Israel
Tehran and Damascus on Thursday threatened an unspecified, “surprise” retaliation against Israel in response to a reported Israeli air strike on a Syrian weapons center the day before.
The Iranian regime’s English-language mouthpiece, Press TV, quoted Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian as saying that the “strike on Syria will have serious consequences for Tel Aviv.”
Syria issued its threat to retaliate through the country’s ambassador to Lebanon.

Iran to Install Thousands of New Centrifuges for Nuclear Enrichment
Western diplomats say Iran intends to greatly increase the speed of its uranium-enrichment program.
Diplomats told the Associated Press and Reuters on January 31 that Tehran informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that it plans to install thousands more modern uranium centrifuges at its Natanz nuclear plant. That could enable Iran to refine uranium two or three times faster than is currently possible. read full article:http://oilprice.com/Alternative-Energy/Nuclear-Power/Iran-to-Install-Thousands-of-New-Centrifuges-for-Nuclear-Enrichment.html

UN panel concludes Israeli settlements are illegal
UN fact-finding mission says the Israeli government's settlement policy has clearly violated the rights of Palestinians and
breaches one of the Geneva Conventions.
The panel's report to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva – the UN's first report on the subject as a whole – says the settlements exist for the exclusive benefit of Israeli Jews, creating a system of total segregation.
The investigators called on Israel on Thursday to halt settlement expansion and withdraw all Jewish settlers from the West Bank. read full article:http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4339561,00.html
