Questions for 2013

As we enter the new year 2013 I have many unanswered questions .

1. Will Iran compromise their nuclear ambitions and let the IAEA in to inspect their facilities or will the red line be reached and will Israel take military action?

2. What will happen to Syria? The death toll rises daily. How can Russia help and have they changed their stance on Assad? Will Chemical Weapons make their way into terrorist hands and threaten Israel?

3. Will Hamas and Hezbollah join into an assault with the Palestinian Authority against Israel ?

Note: Our eyes are on Israel as prophecy unfolds. We need to remember that they were scattered worldwide for over 2000 years, but were brought back to their homeland that God had promise them.

They became a nation in 1948. (Only God could have made this happen)

In 1967 Israel annexed Jerusalem after the 6 day war. Jerusalem is now in their midst where the Jewish Temple stood.

In Zechariah 12:2-3
God says: "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah [the Jews inhabiting the land of Israel] and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it."

In verse 9 He adds, "It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem."

"Behold, the day of the Lord is coming . . . For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; the city shall be taken, the houses rifled, and the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity . . . Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle.

"And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very large valley; half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south" (Zechariah 14:1-4).

The tiny nation of Israel is becoming surrounded by their enemies just as prophecy foretells.

4. The question I have on this subject is, will a great peacemaker arise? Will he have the answers to all the hatred against Israel? ( biblical warning- The prophet Daniel tells us there will be a false peacemaker and will offer peace for 3 ½ years, thereafter, he will reveal his true nature.) Daniel 9 vs. 27

There will be many who believe his lies. Jesus tell us to watch and that we are children of the light. We are not in darkness that these days should surprise us.

Our world is going through so many changes as I spoke of in an earlier blog “Understanding the Beginnings of Sorrows“ . I will continue to bring news about these changes.

I will continue to watch for answers to my questions above. Let us keep watch on Israel and their sacred Jerusalem.
